Our client are a large local government organisation and are looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to join their team. This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right applicant. Our client is looking someone who can come on board and assist in the delivery of an internal audit service for the client and other commercial bodies.

You will undertake risk based, probity and other assignments including special investigation projects and reviews as well as contributing to projects, value for money to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of audits and report progress on the overall audit plan.

To be considered for this role you will be a CCAB or IIA/AAT qualified auditor with experience and knowledge of local government audit practices.
